Letter from the Government for parents

Dear Parents and Carers

Please find below a link to a letter from the Government to all children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), their parents/carers and families, and others who support them.

Just to reassure you, the systems we have in place are not changing. The letter covers the fact that we are not working as schools, and as such the EHCPs are not being provided to their fullest and that all schools are making ‘reasonable efforts’ to support the children  either through remote learning or other sources.

The advice is still that children are safer at home. There is no change in this statement at the moment.

It is my responsibility to ensure you all have access to the most up to date information being shared from Government offices.
