Morning update

Dear Parents and Carers

Late last night clarification came through from the DFE that Special schools would remain open to vulnerable pupils and critical worker families.

During the period of national lockdown, schools, alternative provision, special schools, and colleges will remain open to vulnerable children and young people and the children of critical workers only.

We will run today with our plan as developed and shared with you yesterday.

We may find that there are additional pressures on staffing due to childcare and shielding that weren’t taken into account yesterday and we shall look at these today. This may mean a revision of the plan and moving back to staggered timetables as in the previous lockdown. We’ll let you know of any changes as soon as we can.
